LUNG DAMAGE ASSOCIATED WITH SYSTEMIC VASCULITIS AND COLLAGEN VASCULAR DISEASES

The article summarizes originat data of clinical, radiological and endoscopical manifestations of lung damage associated with systemic vasculitis and collagen vascular diseases. These include Wegener’s granulomatosis, Churg-Strauss syndrome, Goodpasture’s syndrome, microscopic polyangiitis and others. Clinical findings are nonspecific and need to be interpreted together with the radiographic and computed tomography as well as bronchoscopic findings. The characteristic imaging and bronchoscopic manifestation of some diseases are presented.
